Can’t believe we’ve seen Kipper go from a pup to full size, he’s got nice colours too. I think the reason why Kipper is more timid than Waverley is because Kipper was raised from a tiny pup back at the save a fox location and now he’s moved to another location, so being in new surroundings is more difficult for him then with Waverley who is mostly fine and adjusted already. If they haven’t been there that long I’m sure Kipper will settle in eventually though

Why do so many of the foxes get adopted out in Fla? Not only is the distance further to drop off and check up and visit more frequently, but the climate is so different from MN. Idk the Fla. laws or regulations on keeping foxes as pets or rescues but I hope they have strict guidelines and standards to abide by. Pls watch out for gators and pythons wherever these sweet adorable foxes live down there.

@Dušan thanks for the info. I saw some foxes with their winter coats. Just wondering what was special about Fla. that drew fox rescuers and sanctuaries to open there as opposed to colder places. I see them in my neighborhood in MN and they look happy and not really scared of people for some reason.

I can't read any more comments. I'm angry and disgusted with the hatred some of you people are showing this wonderful person who rescues foxes and devotes her life to making sure they're happy. Before you write your ignorant comments I want you to ask yourselves: "What am I doing to help? What am I doing to save animals?" because in almost all cases I know that the answer is that you're doing NOTHING while Mikayla is tearing her soul to pieces every time one of her beloved foxes have to leave for a new home so that she can rescue more foxes who are waiting for death at the fur farm! My guess is that most of you are adults too, SO ACT LIKE IT! Do your research! Think about the bigger picture! Show empathy for the person who does all this wonderful work! If you can't do that then leave the internet and don't come back until you can write with some sense!

I didn't understand that the foxes in Florida also have larger areas in which to run & play. Someone in the comments pointed that out. That will help many of us who did not understand the situation. Forgive me if it was spoken about in a video: I, personally, missed it. Bottom line, nobody is doubting your love for these precious souls, Mikayla. Of course your attachment is immense! I think I speak for most when I say that we, too, are hugely attached to you, the foxes and all your important work. NOTHING in my mind is more important than teaching & showing all that you do around this subject. I love animals more than I could ever express, so please forgive me if I also felt some sorrow. Letting even *one* go must be impossibly tough. We love you, and we love the foxes ... forever.

As terribly hard as it must be to let go of beloved animals (even for us viewers) in order to rescue more, I can understand and accept that. It would be stupid to attack or criticize people for doing that. What I personally find painful to know, or to watch, is how little space many of these sanctuaries have for each animal. I know it is not these people’s fault, they do the best they can, and the foxes rescued from fur farms are surely the lucky ones. What I am saying is that while watching videos from Save a fox is such a pleasure and a joy, with all the open space, the foxes running in green or snow, and the sense of freedom we get from them, watching videos from these other sanctuaries is sad and depressing, because there are metal enclosures and cages everywhere and they look like prisons. It is not about being unkind, and it is not these people’s fault for sure, but it is what it is.

Although my comment may not be seen, I want to truly thank Mikayla for the hard work that she goes through to ensure that more foxes can be saved. Yes it's sad to see Kipper and Waverly go and I can't imagine how tough it must be on Mikayla, but we should be happy that this gives more foxes a chance to be rescued. It hurts to see Kipper go and it pained me to see Malachi go before too, but we can't let our anger and sadness get the best of us each time a fox is rescued. I thank 101 paws as well and I know they'll take great care of Kipper and Waverly!

I realize many of you are upset with Kipper leaving. I do not want to let any of the foxes go. But that's just the line of work I am in. We've had over 100 foxes through saveafox in just a couple years. It's not possible for me to keep them all. And I HAVE adopt out many of them that I am extremely bonded to. Trust me this is so much harder on me than viewers. I was pretty bonded to Malachi, Todd, and Kipper (and many more) and had to let them go to good home so that we could continue to save more. Kipper is in a great home with a really good environment and his best friend Waverly. Kipper is sensitive and it is hard for me to see him upset. But of course it can take any animal time to adjust to a new home and I know he will come around as Waverly already has! It's also a huge change in temperature which takes so adjusting too. Please recognize that he is just taking time to adjust. This was hard on all of us, please be kind.

It was for her best though, because I couldn't take care of her at the time, and neither I can now (health problems). And the same it's true for Kipper and Weaverly. I'm happy of this new change for kip and wav, the Newly released foxes and our little clem. They have a bedding space and yard...which looks about the same as their first yard. A BEAUTIFUL NEW HOME. And let's not forget the mission: TO SAVE AND RESCUE MORE. You can always follow and keep tabs of our little fox friends. They are not the first, nor last fox's who will find new homes. Do you seriously lack the kind of empathy that you don't realise that Mikayla is the one who hurts the most by leaving them with their new homes??? They're all absolutely gorgeous. I remember when Kipper was tiny. He turned out so handsome & independent. Kipper is a true testament to your rescue capabilities. He's totally independent. You let their personalities flourish and don't force them to be this way or that. Perfect matriarch. ❤🦊❤🦊❤🦊❤

Its always sad when the Foxes go to a new home.😔 But soon with time, they all adjust to their new environments.🤗

I understand the need to find them new homes, but I feel bad they don't have a big yard like they had in Minnesota. But good on Fenris for being so friendly! He and Raven have the opposite situation, they went from tiny cages, to a much bigger enclosure.

There is a larger enclosure they get time in just like at SaveAFox. They actually have more room in their small enclosures then they did in the SaveAFox small enclosures. They alternate when certain foxes are given yard time like in SaveAFox because foxes are territorial and don't all get along.

I am really glad that Waverly has Kipper with her. After she lost her Mouse and now moving to a new home, she will have someone familiar. I also got my Mouse pin in the mail and almost cried.

The smaller Fox enclosures are nicer and larger then the ones at SaveAFox, and there's a large yard that they get to play in at certain times like at the SaveAFox rescue. They just can't let all the Foxes in it at once because they're territorial animals and don't all get along so like at SaveAFox the foxes are on schedules on when they get to be out in the big yard.

It’s beyond my mind that someone can call this place so good. The place looks so un-natural, artificial. weird and small in the video, more like a Zoo. Didn't like it

Huh, they are in a place 20 times the size they were in at the fur farm. There are 10,000 more at fur farms in 2x2 cages. Maybe you should go save a few.

Could it be that Kipper became shy because he met a bit too many adult foxes as a kid? In the nature they meet mainly their mom, some maybe not even their dad. I remember how scared Kipper was a a puppy, when so many big foxes came to sniff him out, and some were a bit quarrelsome. I think Dixie seemed nearly angry towards him, when he was small. Or maybe it was more like he was caught in the crossfire of the adults quarreling who gets to pamper the babe. Well, of course they each have their basic character, so he could be this shy anyway :)

That looks way too hot, even Clementine is panting. Not sure I could wear a fur coat in that heat. Does that mean Finnegan will be sent away to make more room for fur farm foxes?

They adjust. Florida actually has a decent wild fox population. Their summer coats will make things better. Over in my small rural town we have a family of foxes I see every now and then at night.

I also doubt missing Finnegan is really high on Kipper's list and more is stressed about adjusting to a new environment. Which he will Florida is a natural habitat for red foxes. We got a decent wild fox population down here. Being another male Fox he likely doesn't want to compete with another male for dominance and prefers having his girl Waverly instead.
